About Our Students

Lewis-Palmer School District is arguably the top-performing district in El Paso County. Our students consistently rank among the top three districts in the State. They score higher on standardized testing than all neighboring districts, place in the overall top 10% for ACT college entrance exams, and beat the average on advanced placement tests by 20%. Lewis-Palmer School District is in the top 2% in the nation on the College Board Advanced Placement Achievement list. Several of our schools have received the John Irwin Schools of Excellence Award given to only the top 8% of schools in Colorado based on student achievement and progress.

The 2012 graduating classes of Lewis-Palmer and Palmer Ridge High Schools continue the tradition of excellence for awards, recognition, and student achievement.
